As part of Moving through May, Kier Construction London has assembled a team of twenty to take on the National Three Peaks Challenge with a fundraising target of £20,000.
Training is well underway in preparation for what's considered one of the UK's toughest endeavours. The National Three Peaks Challenge is a demanding 3000-meter, 26-mile ascent up the three highest peaks across England, Scotland and Wales, the team aims to summit Ben Nevis (1,345m), Scafell Pike (978m) and Snowden (1,085m) in under 24hours.
All sponsorship money raised will go to the Kier Foundation and Kier Group's charity partner, The Trussell Trust supporting a network of over 1300 food banks across the UK. Our supply chain and fundraising efforts will help them to deliver emergency essentials to the millions of people struggling to cope with poverty and the cost-of-living crisis. The majority of food banks are ran by volunteers, supporting people by providing emergency food parcels. Specialist advisors offering financial help and advice are placed at the food banks, so people have a one-stop shop to go to for help.
